One Vice-Chairman stated that, “the one that will bring about the most change is a new work dynamic. Ironically, people are connecting with each other better than they did pre-virus. We’ll need to figure out how to maintain the benefits of this new type of connectivity when we’re “back.”
Another Managing Director offered this perspective,
“I would also hope that we’d have more and continuing respect for our public sector front line workers and those providing essential services. Our Government seem very keen to take this sectors for granted, pay the most appalling salaries, treat them as fodder and show a continued lack of respect. Without these people right now society would be falling over and the death rate soaring massively. What more do these guys have to do to prove their worth and be treated with the respect they so rightfully deserve…and be given the proper equipment and pay?!”
Which one of these, if any, will change our lives for the better post Coronavirus?
