We’re at the beginning of a pandemic…so is the UK Government doing enough to stimulate our economy?

Over 70% of people believe the government was doing enough (mostly) to stimulate the economy.

One CEO believes, “It (the government) needs to strike a balance between allowing life to go on and lock down…the risk of economic disaster is arguably greater than the number of people who may be significantly affected by a virus that, for most people, will produce mild symptoms, at work.”

Another Chief Executive offered this viewpoint,

“We won’t know for a while, but I do think it’s doing everything it can for now, and if it needs to take further measures at a later stage then I’m sure it will. Now’s the time for us all to get behind the Government and what it is trying to do. Inquests and criticisms should wait until the crisis is over.”
